Introduction
HIT is one of the leading container terminal operators in Hong Kong and one of the key assets of HPH Trust. With a strong emphasis on productivity and efficiency, HIT is committed to the development and implementation of forward-looking, service-enhancing technology.
Today, HIT operates 12 berths at Terminals 4, 6, 7 and 9 North which have depths alongside of 14.2 to 16 metres and the capability to handle the largest container vessels.
In January 2019, HIT, COSCO-HIT, ACT and Modern Terminals Limited established the Hong Kong Seaport Alliance, on which they collaborate to ensure the efficient management and operation of the 23 berths in Kwai Tsing.
